[ He hasn't known Hel that long in the scheme of things, but he feels like he probably hasn't done enough good in the world to deserve someone in his life who honors his ability to choose. And it's all without him actually telling her these things, he's never shared the whole of his past with her just little things here and there and if she filled in the gaps with looking him ( or just the Winter Soldier ) up after, that was not something he ever asked about.
